Sometimes hip hop gets pulled into some really dumb stuff and that’s exactly the case with rappers Lil Yatchy and his music idol Soulja Boy. Apparently the two are beefing because of some pictures which were posted on Instagram. The situation began last Friday when Soulja Boy posted a number of pictures of himself and India Love, a model, on the social media platform. India was reportedly with Yatchy at the time and expressed her displeasure with the pictures because they implied that she and Soulja Boy were once romantically involved. Yatchy took it upon himself to request his fellow rapper to take down the pictures via text. Soulja Boy supposedly didn’t take the messages well and a new hip hop beef began.
Soulja Boy posted the text conversation on IG before he proceeded to do the usual rants as is the case in these situations. The beef died down but just yesterday the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star woke up to find Yatchy’s fans posting boat emojis on his feed which set Soulja off once more.
The beef seems to be one-sided though because Soulja Boy is the one who’s been much more vocal about it. He has gone as far as announcing that he will release a Yatchy diss track titled F**k Boy; a song he released a snippet of on his IG.
Yatchy seems to be the cooler of the two but despite his relative silence on the matter he did find time to mention that Soulja Boy was his idol and now ”ya idols become ya rivals.” He went on to mention that Soulja Boy has lost one of his most loyal fans. In typical rap fashion he bragged about how he’s more popular than Soulja Boy now and how “don’t nobody talk about that n**ga.”
Earlier today Soulja Boy later tried to squash the beef again by offering a truce to all the people he has had altercations with including 21 Savage, Southeside and Keke Palmer of all people. To be honest some of these beefs are just embarrassing for real.
In other news Soulja Boy and Bow Wow have a new joint mixtape titled Ignorant S*it. The two have collaborated prior to this most notably some years back on a track title Marco Polo. In an Instagram post the two wrote that they are charging $250,000 per club appearance. Whether they are really getting booked at this rate is another issue considering how both rappers’ stock has devalued heavily over the past few years. After all Bow Wow filed for bankruptcy not too long ago and Soulja Boy hasn’t been hot in a long time.
